Kyle M. Potter, Sr.
October 17, 1984 - July 15, 2023

Kyle Matthew Potter, Sr., 38, of Hampstead, passed away all too soon on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was born in Howell, MI on Wednesday, October 17, 1984 to his beloved parents, Helen (Milliken) Charboneau and Arthur H. Potter, Sr. He was husband to Emily Rogers, who was the love of his life.

After graduating high school, Kyle went on to obtain his degree as a computer technician. He worked various jobs, most recently for Wendy’s corporation. In his spare time, Kyle enjoyed working on computers, gaming, coloring but most of all, spending time with his children and family. He like owls and collecting knives.

In addition to his wife and parents, left to cherish his memory are his children, Kyle Jr. and Michelle of the home; siblings, Justin Scheffler of KY, Ashely Turner of PA, Arthur H. Potter, Jr. of MI, Jesse Scheffler, III of MI, Shirley Potter of NC, April Linahan of MI, Christine Staub of SC, Ernest Scheffler of NC, Robbie Potter of NC, and Belinda Scheffler of GA; and 40 plus nieces and nephews. Kyle has numerous extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy, Dad-Jim, brother, Domonic Scheffler and Papa Scheffler.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with arrangements announced by the family.

To know Kyle is to know of his kind, generous and caring spirit. He loved everyone he came to know and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He had a good sense of humor and kept everyone laughing.

Our son, our brother and uncle Kyle was much loved by everyone he knew. His absence will be forever felt and greatly missed.

    My heart breaks for my family. Kyle was a good man with a great big heart! He may not be here physically, but he’s here spiritually, watching over all of his family! Until we meet again cousin!
