Robert William Green, born on October 4, 1959, in Goldsboro, NC, passed away on January 10, 2024, in Hubert, NC. He was 64 years old at the time of his passing. Born October 4, 1959, he was the son of the late John Linwood Green and Joyce (Conner) Green. After high school, he went on to obtain his plumbing certification from Wake Tech Community College.
Robert, a skilled plumber, dedicated his career to his profession. He began his career as a Plumber for Triangle Heating and Plumbing before venturing out to work independently for various companies. His expertise and commitment to his craft were recognized and appreciated by those he served.
Outside of work, Robert had a zest for life that was evident in his hobbies and interests. He found solace and joy in boating, fishing, and watching movies. These activities allowed him to unwind and appreciate the simple pleasures life had to offer. Robert’s faith played an important role in his life, as he was of the Episcopal faith.
Robert is survived by his brother, Steve Green and his wife, Martha of Dunn. He also leaves behind nephews Joseph W. Green of Chattanooga, TN, Mark Schmitt and his wife, Katie of Fayetteville, and Kevin Schmitt of Largo, FL. Additionally, he will be deeply missed by his close friend, Angie Eason, and his beloved dogs, Yaz and Toby.
To honor Robert’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. Instead, we remember him for his colorful personality, a person who lived life on his own terms and the love he had for his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
