“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor
crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

Revelation 21:4

Cheryl “Cheri” Igoe, age 61, loving mother and grandmother, was welcomed home to heaven in the early hours on the 18 th of March 2024 surrounded by her loving family after a 35-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Cheri was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on January 15, 1963, to Jacqueline (Stephens) Clemans and Nelson Wildrick. Cheri enjoyed sharing memories of her farm-raised upbringing in Fair Oaks, Indiana, with her parents and 4 siblings. Cheri married Gary Clemans in 1977 and had Jimmy and Tanya, then later married John Igoe in 1984 and had Sheena and Johnny. Together, Cheri and John raised their 4 children. Cheri attended Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana and was employed in various positions including production, sales, care taking, and marketing. Cheri’s greatest accomplishment, love, and joy was her children and grandchildren. Cheri enjoyed being in the sun, having a fun time, driving her green Mustang, laughing, and listening to music. Her smile lit up all the room. Cheri is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Jimmy (Brandan) Igoe, Tanya Igoe, Sheena (Casey) Cupid, and John (Katie) Igoe. She is survived by 6 grandchildren, Kayden, Harper, Emery, Brooks, Jaxxon, and a baby-girl due in April. She is also survived by her 4 siblings and their spouses, Patricia Robinson, Katherine (Butch) Lonsberry, Robert (Connie) Wildrick, and Richard (Pamela) Wildrick, and many nieces and nephews.

Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Jacqueline (Stevens) Clemans and Nelson Wildrick, and a baby brother, James Leroy.

A celebration of life will be planned this summer in Indiana (location, date, and time to be determined). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to GracePoint Resource Center. “GracePoint Resource Center offers hope and help to the community by equipping people to face the challenges of their daily lives through Biblical counseling, group mentoring classes, and other practical resources and training.” Contributions may be made in Cheri’s memory by using the donation link below or mailed to 204 West Washington St. Suite 1,

A note of thanks to all who cared for and supported Cheri throughout the years, as well as family and friends who shared condolences, support, prayers, love, and kindness to her family during this
challenging time. Special thanks to the McCoy family for their gracious love and support for the children and grandchildren in the immediate days following this tremendous loss.

“Lord, we come before you with heavy hearts and ask that you comfort us as we mourn the loss of our
mother. Help us to find peace in the knowledge that she is now in your loving embrace, and that we will

one day be reunited with her in heaven.” ~ Author Unknown
