Alexis Lee Striewski
January 31, 1995 - December 29, 2017

Alexis Lee Striewski, age 22, of Castle Hayne went home to the lord, guided by her Pop-Pop Francis Huber on December 29, 2017.

 

Alexis was born January 31, 1995 in Stratford, New Jersey the daughter of Michael and Michelle Striewski.

 

Alexis was so full of life, she enjoyed hanging out with her friends and family, going to the beach and shopping, being a girly-girl, and dancing like nobody was watching. Her presence always lit up the room when she walked in.  Her sense of humor was pure and came so natural. Alexis had such a caring nature that she’d help everyone, even hurting herself in the process. Her love for others was evident in being an Organ Donor and career where she was a dedicated home health aide.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Michael and Michelle Striewski; sister/best friend, Toni Striewski; beloved boyfriend Paul Aiello: aunts, Dorothy Romanelli (Doug Lardi )Debbie Jewell (Joe); Rhonda Connors (Tim) Gloria Huber (Jack)  grandmothers, Dorothy Huber and Deborah Striewski; lifelong friends, Gregory Thummel, Marie Borrelli, Desiree’ Munoz: feline companion, Fat Boy A.K.A Bubba,  and numerous other loving family and friends.

 

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

    My heart goes out to everyone in the family. But I will always be here if you ever need anything. Alexis I love you baby girl. I will see you again someday. Give Andrew and your pop a hug for me okay. You will never be forgotten. Every time I look at Emily and Ryan I always think of you

    Like everyone else, I am at a loss for words. Rest In Peace now Alexis, your demons are gone. You have many family members in heaven who will help guide you now. I know the rest of us here will feel your watchful eye over us. You will forever remain in our hearts. ❤️

    The only comfort in this sad and devasting time is that Alexis is at peace now. Her fight is over. My heart, thoughts, & prayers are with the entire family. May god help guide you through this tragic loss to some comfort n peace. Love and miss you all.

    My boog. I am still at a loss for words. You are more than just my little cousin, you are my little sister. I know you are no longer hurting and saving lives along the way.     You will be sadly missed.God has you under his wing.You gave me such beautiful memories from a baby to a young woman. You left to soon baby girl.But i know you earned your wings and you are watching over us.I love you with all my heart and miss you terribly. I have wonderful memories to always cherish.
