Carol Jo Fischer Wilson
Daughter of Joseph and Louise Fischer, passed away peacefully after a two year battle with ALS on October 13th, 2016 in Carolina Shores, NC. Her family was by her side. She was the beloved wife of Robert T. Wilson and was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Dana Wilson Miller of Cranberry, PA. Carol was born on April 6th, 1945 and graduated from West Mifflin South High School. Soon after, she met and married the love of her life, Robert T. Wilson on October 30th, 1965. They celebrated 51 inseparable years together. Raising her family in Elizabeth Township and spending time with relatives was her passion and first priority. Her beauty and smile would light up the room and she lived life to the fullest. Carol loved traveling, cooking, gardening, reading and shopping, especially for her grandchildren. She is survived by two children; Lance Wilson (Michelle) of Florence, SC and Kurt Wilson (Amy) of Irwin, PA. Seven grandchildren; Jeffrey (20), Kyle (17) and Kaitlyn Miller (15), Keira (7) and Elise (5) Wilson, Julia (11) and Gabriel Wilson (9). Later in life, she and her husband relocated to the coast of NC to enjoy retirement, the beach, and spending endless days manicuring her yard. Her life will also be forever cherished by her two sisters, Lorraine Sharkey (Tom) of Elizabeth Township and Janice Johnson (James) of Anna, ILL.     Jim and I would like to extend our very deepest sympathy for your loss. Carol was not only beautiful…but such a beautiful person. She loved her Bobby and her family. God Bless you all and our prayers for healing.
