Christian Bryce Phillips
August 13, 1998 - May 22, 2023

With the deepest sorrow, we announce that Christian Bryce Phillips passed unexpectedly on Monday, May 22nd, 2023. He was 24  and everyone knew him as Bryce, he was our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, family member and friend. Bryce was born August 13, 1998, in New Bern, North Carolina. He is the son of Malissa “Lisa” Deaton and Darrin K. Phillips.

If you knew Bryce well or barely at all, he always left you with a life experience to always remember. Bryce’s passions were bicycles, cars, video games and music. He loved to create music and had recently recorded two  songs this past February that he was very proud of. He and his father had resided in New Bern, NC, Kansas City, KS, St.Pete, FL and in the Southern California area where he was one of the most beloved bicycle mechanics. Bryce’s most recent residence was Wilmington, NC.

Bryce was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clinton Phillips and Earl Deaton, and his mother, Malissa “Lisa” Deaton.
Bryce is survived by his father, Darrin Phillips, grandmothers, Rita Tyndall and Barbara Estes, Aunts and Uncles, Dwayne Phillips, Lynne
Phillips, Kevin Phillips, Heather Phillips, and his sister, Holly Shirley.

He will truly be missed and always loved by his family and friends.

    So sorry for your loss. One of coolest guys I have met in my life. Worked with him at fox&Hound and became good friends. Love you dude, will always remember your laugh and our “your the man” greeting when we saw each other. Rest in peace bro.

    So sorry for your loss. One of the coolest guys I have ever met in my lifetime,and I am 60 years old. Will never forget that smile and laugh. We always greeted each other with ” you the man” expression. Great dude! Rest in peace bro! Love ya
