Cindy Lee Sherer Beatty 55 passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Winnabow, NC.
She was born on January 22, 1967, in Jeanette, Pa the daughter of the late Herbert M. Sherer and is survived by her mother Beverly B. Bennett, Oakmont, PA.
She grew up in Johnstown, PA.
Cindy was a very outgoing and friendly person who never met a stranger. She was an avid dog lover and a very talented artist. She was extremely proud of her two grown sons. Cindy was delighted to have become a grandmother 2 years ago.
She was predeceased by her father and is survived by her mother and sons Dustin H. Beatty (Maddi) Littleton, CO, Colin M. Beatty (Kate) Highlands Ranch, CO; grandchildren Persephone H. Beatty, Parker B. Beatty-Leroux; sister Tracy L. Sherer; nephew David J. Holloway.
Services will be private.

Our hearts go out to Cindy’s family in this time of grief. She did what she could to be a friend to so many people and a person of good will to everyone in all walks of life. The artist in her and her love for nature and animals helped her to appreciate small blessings during hard times. I will remember her beautiful penmanship, her laughter and her lovely blond hair, her love of the beach, all things Classic Hollywood and her love for her sons and her mom and sister. She and I shared many times of laughter between the many times of sadness. She was generous to a fault and would share her last dollar with a hungry stranger which I witnessed time and again. Her true and best self wanted peace of mind and a safe place to dwell and rest. She is at rest now.
