Cynthia “Cindy” Anne Ebert, born on December 30, 1963, in Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, in Jacksonville, NC, at the age of 60. Cindy was a beacon of joy and simplicity, whose infectious smile and warm hugs brought comfort to all who knew her.
Cindy’s life was a testament to finding happiness in the everyday moments. She often expressed how happy she was, whether she was exploring the aisles of her favorite dollar stores or enjoying quiet moments working on puzzles and coloring. Her love for watching TV provided her with a window to the world, and she cherished these simple pleasures. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Cindy graduated from a special education program from Indian Crest School where she previously resided in Souderton, PA. After school, she went on to work at Indian Valley Industries Workshop as a piece worker. She enjoyed the tasks she was given and her gentle spirit left an indelible mark on her colleagues and friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved father, Paul H. Ebert, Jr and her brother, Jeffrey S. Ebert. She is survived by her loving mother, Gladys Ebert, who doted on her every day; her sister and best friend, Lisa Pope, and Lisa’s husband, Fred, who reside in Jacksonville. Cindy also leaves behind a close-knit family of nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Her family and friends were the center of her world, and she was known for her generous heart and ample hugs. Cindy’s warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, leaving a legacy of love and laughter.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at a later date with details to be announced by the family. In remembrance of Cindy, let us carry forward her spirit of gratitude and contentment, always finding joy in the small things and sharing love with those around us.
