David was a wonderful person and never failed to make me smile with his great sense of humor. Not once in the few times I saw him over the last few years did he ever complain about his deteriorating health. I will miss my cousin. Condolences to his family and all who loved him.

I met David and went to grammer school with him at Wilson Elementary when his family lived on the corner of King and Mauney in Gastonia. David’s Mom started a Cub Scout Pack in the 4th grade at First Baptist. David’s Dad was transferred and I lost touch when they moved away, but reconnected when they moved back during High School. I knew he was living in Myrtle Beach, but I could never make contact. Hate to hear this news. Our prayers for your family.
