Donna Mae Baxter, born on April 12, 1956, in Oak Ridge, TN, to the late Leroy Breeden and Clara (Fox) Breeden, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, in Hubert, NC. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth. Donna lived a fulfilling life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Throughout her career, Donna worked as an entrusted Key Holder at Dollar General in Fort Worth, TX where she lived many years. She not only excelled in her role but also built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike. Her dedication and work ethic were truly admirable.
Donna had a passion for life and enjoyed various interests, including spending time with her family, traveling the country all over, visiting casinos (playing the penny slots was her favorite), and admiring the beauty of the mountains. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she found immense joy in watching them grow and thrive. She was a devoted member of Charity Baptist Church, where she found solace and community.
Donna is survived by her beloved husband, Ralph Ham; daughters Elisa (Tim) Belcher, Gracie Bullard, and Holly (Dain) Jacobs; son Tommy Calvin Cooper; brother, Carl Ray Daniels; grandchildren, Blaine Belcher, Brandon Cooper, Jayden Jacobs, Harley Jacobs, Emmalyn Jacobs and Hannah Jacobs; and her great-grandchildren, Justin and Destiny Cooper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Timothy Breeden and her grand-daughters, Emily Cooper and Victoria Bullard.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 10, 2024 at 2pm at Grace Baptist Church: 3079 West Wolf Valley Rd, Clinton, TN 37716.
She loved her family unconditionally, and her kids and grandkids were her world. Her deep affection for her husband was evident in the fact that she married him twice, a testament to the enduring love they shared beginning in high school.
Donna Mae Baxter’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family will forever be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories she created during her time on this earth.
