    Dearest Chatfield family,
I am so saddened to here of this news of your Dad’s passing. I am sending you my prayers for comfort, healing and love during this difficult time. I’ve known your family for over 55 years and you were like a second family to me as a kid. I always felt the acceptance and warmth of your family and of course, always enjoyed your Dad’s humor & his perfect East Coast accent. I hope you can find comfort in celebrating the joyful times and wish you love and peace from my family. Wish that I could be there for the memorial, I’ll be there in spirit!
    XO Beth (Hedge) Fleming

    Dearest Regina and Family,
I mourn with you the loss of a beautiful person.

Eddie was the best. We shared so many good conversations on everything from baseball to politics. I loved him like a brother.

He was so kind and generous. I will always cherish the book he sent me, “The World’s Greatest Ballpark.” And that very special cap.

He always remained true to the Franciscan spirit.

Well done, good and faithful servant!

You will be greatly missed by this Brooklyn gitl.
