Elizabeth “Dawn” Hansen
November 13, 1966 - August 12, 2022

Dawn was an amazing, wonderful, absolutely incredible woman with an infinite amount of
patience, as evidenced by the fact she spent 20 years with me. She was a loving caring mother
not only to her own kids but to all those in the youth groups she led through her church. She
loved each of those kids just as much as she loved her own.
She fought a long arduous battle with cancer that she unfortunately lost on Aug. 12th 2022. Her
battle was a true inspiration to those who witnessed it. She is survived by her Parents Jerry and
Linda Lundy, by me, her awestruck husband, Rob Hansen, two absolutely amazing young men,
our sons, Benjamin and Noah, and a whole slew of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins she loved very
much.
We will be honoring Dawn’s amazing life on Aug 19th at 1:30 at Port City Community Church,
250 Vision Drive, Wilmington, NC. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Port City
Community church’s FUSE scholarship fund.

Rob, Benjamin, Noah, Jerry and Linda,
Its hard to put into words when one’s extended family is hurting so bad and all you can do is to share their hurt and pray to our Good Lord to send them some form of comfort. Dawn’s everlasting impression for us is her devotion to her boys and her love of family. She was a beauty inside and out and our times with her were pure pleasure and delight. She was a loving and sweet presence. Our hearts are broken and our love for all of you is neverending.

There’s nothing I can say about Mrs. Dawn that you don’t already know. Her loving and kindness truly showed her Godly nature. I can never say enough about the love and support she gave to her small group girls and I know for one my daughter Jordan loved her as family. She will truly be missed. Our families prayers and thoughts are with you.

Our sweet Dawn – a selfless and giving person who’s faith, courage and strength amazed us as she battled this awful cancer. She will be dearly missed every day. We love you.
