Gerald Henry Camp
December 6, 1925 - December 18, 2017

Gerald H. Camp a saint went to heaven on Monday December 18, 2017. He was 92 years old and lived a full life. He went peacefully in his home and in his own bed as he wanted. He was in the presence of family and friends during his last days. He was loved by his children, grandchildren, great grandchild and his baby sister.

Daddy was a WWII Veteran and worked for the Public Service Gas Company from which he retired. He had many great memories from his life and was always willing to share “war stories” and “pipeline stories.”

We give thanks for Amedisys Hospice Care who gave Daddy excellent and loving care during his last days as well as giving us the support that we needed.

We give thanks for Kellie who gave him joy, love and care during the last 9 months. She was a delight to him.

We also give thanks for our church family and work family for their love and support during these last days. It Takes a Village!!!

A celebration of life is planned for March 2018 when all of the family who is scattered from Germany, Florida, Texas, California, Kansas City and North Carolina can gather and remember him in love. Donations in his name may be made to Anaiah Senior Services for Kellie, contact family for further details on where to send donations or Amedisys Hospice Care www.amedisys.com.

Mr. Gerald has graced us with his charm. He was a thoughtful man and had an excellent sense of humor In life of all the people you meet, few people you will remember. Mr. Gerald has given us nice memories that will not fad.

I doubt any of the children he scarred for life are shedding any tears, except ones of relief. Good Riddance!
