Glendora “Glennie” McGee
February 11, 1931 - April 1, 2022

Glendora Norma McGee, 91, of Richlands, NC, died Friday, April 1, 2022.

Glendora “Glennie” was preceded in death by her parents, Ingvald and Gina Swanson; loving spouse of 49 years, Edward Elliott McGee; and sister, Ruth Sundberg.

She is survived by her children, Michael McGee (Judy) and Cynthia Dalton (Fay, Jr.); grandchildren, Justin McGee (Lindsay), Stacey Haste (Bradley), and Melissa Jones (Lee), nine great-grandchildren; and extended family in Minnesota.

Glennie was born February 11, 1931, in East Grand Forks, Minn., where she later met and married Ed in 1952. The couple relocated to Iowa where they raised their family. Glennie and Ed enjoyed their retirement traveling throughout the states in their RV prior to relocating to Greenville, SC. She spent her final years living in North Carolina, creating new friendships in Hampstead and family memories in Richlands.

The family will honor Glennie privately at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, SC. The family would like to express gratitude to her many caretakers, and especially Susie Batchelor and Nancy Sholes.
