
Gregory Alan Yeamans, better known as Greg, 53, of Jacksonville, passed away April 27, 2022. Born on November 1, 1968 to the late Earle Yeamans, Jr. and Sandra (Barraclough) Zele. He was the loving husband to Leanne Michaels, having been together over 15 years, married 9 of those years. He was a carpenter by trade and he proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Gulf War and Desert Storm. In his spare time, he enjoyed building things, fishing, being outdoors, anywhere that was on the water but his favorite hobby was tinkering in the backyard.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Lynne Yeamans and brother, Michael Yeamans.
A private service will be held at a later date and announced by the family.
To know Greg is to know how accepting he was of others, he had different types of friends and loved each of them. He was an assertive person who was very smart and always aware of his surroundings. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
