Jeanette Brock Evans, age 76 of Clinton, NC went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones. Jeanette was born on August 5, 1941 in Duplin County.
She is survived by her husband Marshall L. Evans III, son Marshall L Evans IV, sister Joyce Jones Norwood, brothers Charles Jones, Lewis Jones and Billy Jones.
Jeanette made many friends as office manager for Sampson, Duplin and Jones counties District Attorney’s Office. She came out of retirement to work for Dewey Hudson’s Law Firm. She always had a smile on her face and in her heart. Her love for her family, friends, and flowers were without boundaries.
She would always say she was doing “FINE” no matter how sick she was, but as she is resting with God, she finally is “FINE”.
She will be loved and missed.

Yes Jeanette you are having the time of your life reuniting with loved ones and friends but especially being in the presence of God. You are missed dearly by everyone hear on Earth. You will live on in each of our lives and in our hearts. Your love snd generosity touched everyone you met. Your laughter and smile could fill the room. Thank you for loving me and for being my friend snd for all the wonderful things you did for me. I love you and will look forward to reuniting one day in that glorious place called Heaven. We will all help to be there for Joyce as she misses you so. Let her know from time to time that you are still watching over her. Love you and miss you.
