JoAnn Anderson

JoAnn Anderson, 72, of Jacksonville, NC, passed away on November 1, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Morrow and Doris (Caton) Kimble, her brother Paul Caton and spouse Sandy, as well as her son, Michael Clark Ingleston, and her great-grandchild Emery Jennings. JoAnn is survived by her fiancé Randy Sawtelle as well as her brothers Wayne and Arlene Kimble of Andover, NJ, David and Darlene Kimble of Pennsylvania, Kevin Kimble of Haverstraw, NY, Jeffery Kimble of Monticello, NY and Patrick and Tanya Kimble of Janesville, WI as well as her sister Tammy Kimble-DeMerritt of Janesville, WI. Also left in the wake of her absence is her daughter, JoAnn (Michelle) Moore and spouse Terry, of Wilmington, NC, along with her sons, Christopher Ingleston of Vernon, NJ, and James Anderson of Jacksonville, NC. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Joss, Ryan, and Jessica Jennings of Wilmington, NC as well as Johnathan Ingleston of Ohio, Christopher Daniel of Myrtle Beach, SC, Christina Daniel of Ohio, and Ryker and Caylee Jennings of Supply, NC. Justine and Jasmine Ingleston of Ohio, both great-grandchildren, also survive her in death. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved.

JoAnn had a giving heart which led her to fostering rescue cats and volunteering with the Verona Fire Department. In her free time she enjoyed fishing and going to the beach as well as spending time with her family.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6 at 2pm at Anchor Baptist Church which is located at 300 Futch Creek Rd, Wilmington, NC 28411

 

In lieu of flowers people may donate to South Eastern Cancer Care by mailing a check to 239 Station Street, Jacksonville, NC 2854 or clicking the donation link for an online option

    Joann you have been in our family for 20 yrs you and Randy were so good for each other remembering all the vacas special get togethers we had the beach the mountains the car races the camping all wonderful times especial our get togethers and dinners with our family Jo we are gonna miss you and love you everyday RIP my sister ????

    Mom, the most amazing woman I know, will be missed by so many. She will forever be loved and we will always know the love she had for us. Rest In Peace mom.

    Mom had a heart of gold and was loved by so many . She met ppl I work with just over the phone and they loved her . I will miss her and she will be missed by many . We were truly blessed to have her as our mother and our friend. Rest In Peace mom

    Growing up joann was always loving to her children and even her adopted children. I felt like family even though I am not. I know joann was a fighter. I am honored i was able to see joann recently. She will be missed dearly. To her family my love and prayers are with you all. Fly high and be free joann!
