My Mom and I both worked with John at Mohonk many years ago. She worked at the info booth and he would often stop and chat with her while checking on the boat dock or wherever. She loved telling the story of a little kid not being watched on the rocks near the water (extremely deep) and fell in. “Silently, running like a gazelle, he and Billy ran down the boat dock to save him.” She shared many stories and laughs with him. Rest in Peace JB! Angela
