John & I worked closely together for the Navy Exchange Systems Command (NEXCOM) for many years. We traveled around the world together with one primary goal, “taking care of the sailor.†John was one of the most dedicated individuals who constantly expected perfection in himself while caring about others. Although we have not seen one another for over 20 years, I have never forgotten nor will I ever forget his kindness, and caring for his friends & co-workers, and his total commitment to towards improving the quality of life for our service members.
