John Rogers Martin, 63, of Calabash went to be with the Lord July 14, 2020. John was preceded in death by his parents Grant G. Martin and Marianne Ehrgood.
John is survived by sons Matthew R. Martin, and Jon R. Martin, daughter Corey Q. Martin, and step daughter Autumn M. Earnhart, sisters, Sandy B. Martin, Sherry Martin, Sylvia Calendrillo, a brother Jimmy George Ehrgood, and long time friend Pammy Tanner.
Life is but a stopping place – A pause in what’s to be. A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys – different paths along the way. We all were meant to learn different things, but never meant to stay. He was loved.
Life’s a Garden, Dig it ! 🙂

R.I.P. Johnnie. I’m so sad that you’re gone, but I know that you’re free now. I will always remember our childhood memories and how much fun we had as siblings. My condolences to the rest of the family and John’s friends. May God bless you.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun…the precious times we spent together will always be remembered Johnnie. You are forever in my heart big brother. Rest in peace. My condolences to all who knew John and will miss him as much as I will.
I am so sorry for your loss! I knew John thru Sandy during our Junior and Senior years of High School. He was my best Euchre partner ever! He was a sweet friend. He sure had some beautiful eyes and a wonderful smile. May God comfort you with His loving arms as you mourn your loss.
