Kimberly Dillon Lambert
November 14, 1967 - July 21, 2021

Kimberly Dillon Lambert passed away at home surrounded by her family on July 21, 2021 at 6:00 PM. Kimberly was born in Geary County, Kansas on November 14, 1967. She graduated from Sampson Community College with a criminal justice degree and a medical technician certificate. She worked many jobs, including detention officer, home health and at Dollar General; but her absolute favorite jobs were working with her husband, being a mother to her sons and a grandmother to her grandkids.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Larry David Lambert; her sons, Adam Lambert(Brooke), David Lambert(Josie), Matthew Lambert(Brittany), and her beautiful 9 grandbabies; Sophia, Grayson, Isabella, Easton, Brantley, Cassidy, Talon, Noah and Aspen. She is predeceased by her mother, Sally Dillon; her father, Floyd Dillon, and her best friend, Joyce Frenson.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. During her free time she loved to hunt, fish, spend time with family and raise chickens. By the community she is known as the “Chicken Lady” and “Chicken Mom”. To those close to her she was accepting, nurturing, protective and so loving.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm at The Gathering at Surf City Baptist Church, 304 Wilmington Ave., Surf City, NC.

    I attended high school with Kim and was saddened to hear of her passing. I will keep each of you in my prayers in the days to come.
