Lawrence Dale Hubble, Sr.
December 24, 1964 - October 12, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Dale Hubble, Sr., affectionately known as Dale, who left this world peacefully at his home on October 12, 2024, just shy of his 60th birthday. He was born on December 24, 1964, in Flint, Michigan to Harleen (Trumbull) Jones and the late Lawrence Howard Hubble. He faced the challenges of cancer with courage and strength with his spirits remaining unbroken.

Before relocating to Holly Ridge, NC to be closer to his children, Dale previously resided in Navassa, NC, Rocky Point, NC and Tennessee.; this is where he spent his career as a skilled flooring installer. His attention to detail and commitment to quality left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with him.

Beyond his professional life, Dale found joy and passion in music. Whether he was singing karaoke, playing the guitar, or simply listening to his favorite tunes, music was a constant companion that brought him solace. An avid disc golf enthusiast, Dale enjoyed the time spent outdoors, perfecting his game and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow players.

Dale’s greatest pride and joy were his family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving daughter, René Hubble of Willard; his sons, DJ Hubble and wife, Tasha of Holly Ridge, and Brandon Hubble of Riegelwood; his sister, Shan Batista of Kentucky; and his brother, Chad Hubble, Sr. of Navassa. He was a proud grandfather to Aaliyah, Jalen, Isiah, Aiden, Rob, Marlie, Cameron, Estelle, Wyatt, and Asher, all of whom will carry forward his memory and the lessons of kindness and generosity he imparted.

Services are being arranged to give all who knew and loved Dale the opportunity to celebrate his remarkable life and bid farewell to a truly wonderful man. Please return here for details.

Dale’s gentle and caring nature touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him. His passion for life was infectious, and his humble nature endeared him to everyone he met. Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit and the memories he created with us will endure forever.
