Linda Darlene Smith, 68, of Supply, NC, formerly of Fayetteville, NC passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, in Bolivia, NC.
Linda “Darlene” Smith was born on October 4, 1950 in Fayetteville, NC. She was the oldest Daughter of the late Charles T. Beasley and Ida H. Register of Fayetteville.
Linda worked at the Fayetteville City Police Department as a records clerk for more than 15 years before retiring. She truly enjoyed her job and the people for whom she worked with.
Surviving are three sons, SSGT. Peter G. Smith, Jr. and his wife Jamie of Appomattox, Virginia, Paul M. Smith, and his wife Rachael of Red Springs, NC and Thomas K. Bledsoe of Mayo, Florida. Two sisters Kathie Bowden, of Summerfield Florida, and Beverly Threatt, and her husband Joel of Supply, NC. Three grandchildren Cheyenne, Mason, and Zachary.
The Celebration of Life and internment will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Coastal Cremations, Carolina Shores, NC.

Darlene always had a sweet smile for everyone. I am sorry she had to leave so soon. I pray her sons, grandsons, sisters & family will find comfort in God’s love during this sorrowful time.
Prayers for you and your family. I worked with Linda at FPD for 15 years until I moved to Ohio. She was the funniest, ki dest person. Her and I had some fun times. She will definitely be missed. RIP Linda
