Linda (Corey) Feragne of St. James, NC passed away early in the morning of February 10th, 2024, with her husband Dick, her daughter Cheryl and lifelong friend Pat by her side.
Linda was born in Warwick, RI on April 16th, 1947, to the late Howard and Elsie Corey. On her 19th birthday, she married the love of her life, Richard (Dick) Feragne, who survives. She is also survived by her only child, Cheryl (Brett) Anderson of Port Matilda, PA, three amazing grandchildren; Scott Corey Anderson of Eugene, OR, Dr. Kaitlin Elizabeth Anderson and Camryn Alyssa Anderson of Port Matilda, PA and two older sisters; Nancy Love of Niles, MI and Allynne Baily of Warwick, RI. She was blessed with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and wonderful friends across the world.
Linda and Richard spent most of their time in New Jersey before retiring to St. James in 2000. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom until Cheryl was a teenager and then worked for two medical practices, finishing her career as an employee of the Department of Defense at Fort Monmouth.
Linda enjoyed playing golf and taking long walks before a back injury slowed her down. She loved her marathon bridge group that she led until right before her death. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved a “bushel and a peck”. Even though the distance was great, she and Richard traveled to PA for every birthday, holiday and special event for her grandkids.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Clubs of St. James at a future date

Filled with so, so many wonderful memories, from vacations in Duck, NC to golf get togethers, countless
fun times hanging out enjoying each other s company.
