Louise Lydine Streeter, 76, of Wilmington passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington. She was born in Wilmington, NC on February 27, 1940, one of six children of the late Lease and JV Horne.
She enjoyed crafts and pottery. She loved raising Rottweilers and Poodles . She is survived by her four children who she loved dearly; Serena Garrett Allen, Don Diego Garrett, George William Peterson Jr (Bill), and Alonzo Mathis Peterson (Al). She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, one sister, Rose Yopp, two brothers; John Horne and Paul Horne. Louise was predeceased by her sister, Hyacinth who is with the lord and brother Cecil Millis, who are with the lord. A devout Christian who loved the Lord. She was a great mother and her children honor her. She is a great loss to her family and everyone who knew her. She will be gone from this life, but always in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 7:00PM at Living Word Church 440 Horn Rd., Wilmington, NC. Pastor Bobby Wilson will be officiating.
