Our beautiful mom, Lucille, was lifted up through faith in God’s grace. Preceded by her husband (Benjamin E. Sitterson, and her eldest son Donald L. Henley). Her children Cassandra Lee Little, Linwood (Butch) Henley, and Karen Y. Mealy will hold her in our hearts forever. She was dearly loved by family and friends. As a family, we know in our faith and heart, she is enjoying God’s beautiful garden and being with her beloved son, Donnie. Mom was fortunate to enjoy five grandchildren, Brian, Tanya, Erin, Destiny, and Faith. She was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Greyson, Caleb, William, Tanner, and Levi. Her family and friends now have another angel to watch over them. She was blessed with many life long friends. She loved supporting VCU Cancer Center, and she rang the bell once for one of her four cancers ( breast cancer). She will be greatly missed and we can’t wait to see you again Momma. Until then, we’ll live and love just as you did

Blessed with a long life, but even with all those years I know they were not enough for those who held Lucille so dear to their hearts. To her loved ones, I extend my deepest condolences. May God’s promises bring you comfort and peace. Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:29 Sincerely sorry for your loss.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Lucille and Carolyn were the best of friends for so long, she was like family. What a wonderful person she was and she will be missed.
Sandy, Butch, and Karen , I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I will keep you and your family and my thoughts and prayers.
I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Sitterson was our friend and favorite patient at Stony Point. She greeted us with a beautiful smile on every visit. I was blessed to sit with her often and hear stories of her family and vacations. She took time to know us too. When she was in clinic each nurse rotated through her room for their own “Mrs. Sitterson” time. She will never be forgotten. She showed us all how to live and love well!
