Lou Molohon, 84, of Southport NC went to be with her Lord on April 18, 2022, at Universal Health Care.

Lou loved to travel and did so extensively while working at USAIR in San Diego.  After retiring in 2002 she moved back east with her two sons, Tony and Scott with whom she was very close.

She was one of fourteen children born to, Robert and Mamie Lucas of Central Illinois.

Preceding her in death are brothers, Paul Lucas, Raymond Lucas, Bill Lucas and John (J.R.) Lucas.  Sisters, Geraldine Drnjevic, Lillian Johnson, Vivian Tippitt, Nancy Bucshon and Dorothy Greenwood.

Lou is survived by her sons, Tony (Sharon) Molohon (Southport, NC) and Scott Molohon (Mclean, Va). Sisters Mary Prior (Sterling, IL); Joyce (Fred) Antonelli (Springfield, IL); Judy (Dan) Pittman (Springfield, IL):  Brother: Fred Lucas (Harlingen TX); sister-in-law Anita Lucas (Kincaid, IL), and many nieces and nephews. She was a dear friend to many throughout her life and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a future date near her birthplace in Illinois.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Alzheimer’s Association.
