Shallotte – Luther H. “Porky” Freeman, Jr., 49, passed away on Sunday at New Hanover Medical Center. Born in Robeson County, he was the son of Luther Harris Freeman, Sr. and the late Margaret Overstreet Freeman.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at SeaMist Campground, 4616 DeVane Rd. SW, Shallotte, NC.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughters, Maggie Freeman and Anita Rose Holmes; sisters, Anita Ward and husband, DeWayne and Sherry Freeman; brother, Harris “Toejoe” Freeman and wife, Gloria; and several nieces and nephews.
