Marilyn loved her family and devoted her life to raising her sons and living life to the fullest with her soul mate, and best friend of 62 years. Our family shared so much love and laughter, and affectionately referred to her as Grandma Fang. She had a wonderful sense of humor, she was generous, caring and soft hearted for children and the less fortunate. Marilyn loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She often welcomed a new neighbor or cooked one of her special dishes for a sick or hurting friend. Over the years she had many furry friends she cared for and loved in her own special way.
She was a woman of strength, honor, and wisdom, she loves the Lord and loved to serve her church. Marilyn’s husband, children, family and friends call her blessed, and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 12:30pm at River of Life Baptist Church, 8411 Ocean Hwy W., Sunset Beach, NC 28468.
