Marion Tilton Thomason, 66, of Hubert, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 25, 2022 at her home. A lifelong resident of Onslow County, she was born on June 18, 1956 to the late Murry Tilton and Myrtle (Cameron) Tilton. She was married the love of her life, Jimmy Ray Thomason, who died May 13, 2021. She spent her career as a nurse working at Onslow Memorial Hospital and later, Belhaven Nursing Home. She was also a bus driver and a devoted member of Crystal Coast Assembly of God. In her spare time, Marion enjoyed being with her family, crocheting, adult coloring books and going to the mountains.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Megan Tilton, of Hubert, NC, Katrina and her Husband, Ricky French of Hubert, NC, and Heather and her Husband, Richard Perry of Leamington Spa, UK; five grandchildren, Darby Tilton, Alice Tilton, Skyler French who she always watched Pokemon, Lily French who loved to color with her and Conrad Perry who she facetimed with several days a week.
Celebration of Life services will be private.
To know Marion is to know how she was always the first one to help someone in need and how she would read any book she could get her hands on.
Marion, mom, grandmother will be forever missed by all that loved and knew her.
Arrangements are in the care of Coastal Cremations and Funeral Care of Jacksonville.

I am so sorry for Marion’s family. I loved my cousin dearly and I will fondly remember our too few visits as children and adults. God bless all of you! We all can go see her in Heaven.
Thinking of you and all the wonderful memories from when I was a child, the trips you would take us on, riding with you to get claims down east, working with you at the Red Barn and later even driving school buses with you. We had a lot of great times with you. You will be missed here but I know you are in a much better place there with so many that left before you! Love you A.M.
