On Thursday, August 26, 2021, Mark Wright, Sr., loving father of three, passed away at age 63. He was born November 17, 1957 in Warrenton, Virginia. Mark was the son of Joyce Cooper and Theodore Wright, and the step-son of Buddy Lundmark Sr. Mark is survived by his wife of 41 years, Aimee Wright, daughters, Nicole (Doug), Jessica (Shawn), son, Mark II (Kristra), and granddaughters Marley and Payton; sisters, Anna Maria and Kimberly, and brothers Buddy Jr. and Dwayne. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sharon and brother Dana.
Mark was a skilled electrician and an avid sports fan of the Washington Football Team and the Washington Nationals. He loved the game of darts, and became a Washington Area Darts Association champion in 1995. His other interests included the television shows Jeopardy and Star Trek, science fiction, and old movies. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held by immediate family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Liver Foundation, or an organization of your choice.
