Cecil Thomas “Tommy” Wilson, of, Lumberton, NC, was born on Thursday, December 25, 1969, to the late Edna Wilson, in Marietta, GA, and passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020, at The Duke University Hospital, in Durham, NC, at the young age of 50 years old.
Tommy enjoyed the beach, and had a fond love for his family, Tommy worked with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Department for 30 years as a major crimes detective.
Left behind to cherish his memories: the love of his life; Mary Hammonds; of the home; three step-children: Joshua Hammonds; Destinee Lowery; and Bryce Lowery; a very special cousin Amanda Bullard and husband Derek; along with a host of family and friends.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his Mother Edna J. Wilson, and his daughter Kelsie Brooke Wilson, who he loved dearly.
A private service will be conducted on Saturday, June 6, 2020
His legacy will continue to live with his family forever as he will be greatly missed.
