Randy Wilford Carter born on September 30, 1946 passed away surrounded by loving family on April 25, 2024 at the age of 77. Randy was born in Greensboro, NC to the late Jewel Carter (Cable) and Ranson Carter.

     Randy loved fishing, bluegrass music, and was an avid pool player with many nights playing at the Moose Lodge Family Center in Shallotte, NC.  Randy was a proud Vietnam Veteran and member of the U. S. Army’s 82^nd Airborne.  He was an active member of the 710 Moose Lodge in Shallotte, NC and thought of many of the patrons as family.

      Randy was loved and liked by all but especially his family. Michael Carter (son), Stewart Carter (late son), Randy Carter (son), Kennith (Marsha) Carter (brother), Cheryl (William) Summers (sister), Kevin (Brenda) Carter (Brother), Ranson Summers (nephew), Kimberly Summers (niece), Christopher Summers (nephew), Kevin Carter Jr (Nephew), Jonathan Carter (Nephew), and multiple great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
