Raymond Yates Willis, 65, of Wilmington, NC passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior at his residence on July 24, 2020. Those left to cherish his memory are by his loving wife of 22 years, Vickie H. Willis,daughters Michelle Fryar of Leland , NC , Kimberly Blair of Rocky Point,NC, four grandchildren Amy F. ( Nate) Mason, Micaela Fryar, Matthew Fryar,and Michael Blair. Also surviving are four brothers”Pete” Willis and wife Jean of Meridian, Mississippi, Robert Willis and wife Sherrill of Greensboro, NC, Steve Willis and his wife Myra of Prosperity, SC and Richard Willis and wife Linda of Wilmington NC, and nineteen nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Walter Johnson Willis, Sr.(1995) and Betty Carolyn Waddell Willis (2020) of Fair Bluff, NC.
Raymond loved his brothers and spending time with them. He loved outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and the beach.
A Celebration of Life will be held on the beach at a later date.
We would like to thank everyone for all their prayers and support. He will truly be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fair Bluff United Methodist Church, 1030 Main Street, Fair Bluff, NC 28439 where Raymond was a Lifetime member.
Arrangements are in the care of Coastal Cremations, Wilmington, NC.

He is a sweet and generous soul. A great neighbor and friend. Miss him lots. Love him and family.
We were saddened to hear of Raymond’s passing. He was a well liked coworker with Dupont. He was a very friendly and outgoing person. He will certainly be missed by many friends and family.
