Rhonda Denice Hewett, 64, of Richlands, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2022. Born June 16, 1957 in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Betty Lou Hewett. She was a residential cleaner, of the Baptist faith and in her spare time she enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren and watching the old, classic TV shows.
Left to cherish her memory, is her son, Kenny Hewett and his wife, Natasha; sisters, Dyan Thompson, Cheryl White, and Rita White; brothers, Timmy Hewett and Tommy Hewett; grandchildren, Nolan, Mya and Liam; and her best friend, Ruby “Kimmy” Henry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Hewett.
To honor her wishes, a memorial service at sea will be held at a later date.
