Terri Tourigny
May 4, 1958 - April 4, 2022

Teresa (Krol) Tourigny, better known as “Terri,” 63, Onslow County, NC, died after an extended illness Monday evening, April 4, 2022 with her family by her side.

Terri was born in Springfield, MA on Sunday, May 4, 1958 to Casimir Krol and Hilda Pericolosi Krol. On June 4, 1977 she married the love of her life, Mr. Robert “Bob” Tourigny, Sr., who passed away April 19, 2021.

A member of the Infant of Prague church, she enjoyed fishing, knitting, doing crafts and cooking; her Italian food is what she was known best for. She liked to stay active, be outdoors, however, spoiling her grandkids was her favorite thing to do!

In addition to her parents, left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert Jr., Jeffrey and his wife Tonya, Armand II and his wife Jess, and David and his wife Jasmine; she was 1 of 9 children: sisters, Elizabeth Labb, Kathleen Creane, Victoria Gelinas; brothers, Christopher, Gregory, James, Jeffery and Andrew Krol; 9 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Amber, Justin, Jonah, Daphne, Matthew, Emily, Aaron and Ryan; and great- granddaughter, Allyson.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Waylon.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at River of Life Church at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Phillips officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date where she will rejoin her husband at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

To know Terri, is to know how much of a “Mama” she was to everyone, which is how she earned the nickname, “Mama T.” She always told good stories, was funny and oh so gullible. She will be forever missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
