Timothy W. Dyer
September 29, 1964 - January 5, 2024

Timothy “Tim” W. Dyer, born on September 29, 1964, in Syracuse, NY, bid farewell to this world on January 5, 2024, at the age of 59 in Sunset Beach, NC. A man with a passion for rocking out and a knack for fixing things, Tim led a life full of music, hard work, and unforgettable moments.

In his earlier years, Tim found himself employed by Crosible of Moravia, NY, where he honed his skills and made a name for himself as a reliable worker. He later ventured to Sunset Beach, NC, and became a valued member of the Coastal Hardware team, always lending a hand to those in need.

Tim’s true love, however, was music. He was an accomplished rock guitarist and was once the lead guitarist for the local rock band, Sick Stooges. With his fingers flying across the strings, he could make hearts soar and spirits ignite. His talent left audiences in awe, and his solos will forever echo in our memories.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Tim is survived by his adoring daughter, Nicole Guzalak (Andrew Miles) of Auburn, NY, and his beloved granddaughter, Madeline Miles. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Janet and Bill Dyer of Sunset Beach, NC, his sister Michelle and her husband Mike of Carolina Shores, NC, and his brother Francis and his wife Leigh of Raleigh, NC. Tim’s absence will also be felt by his nieces and nephews, Kaleigh, Lilly, and Jacob, whom he loved dearly.

A private service will be held to celebrate Tim’s life, allowing those closest to him to pay their last respects. Though he may have left the stage, the memories and impact he made will forever resonate within us.

In honor of Tim, let us remember to live life to the fullest, chase our dreams, and always make time for those we hold dear. Rest in peace, Tim, and may your melodies continue to inspire us as we carry your spirit in our hearts.

I’m just so very sorry to think of Timmy’s passing, and what a void that will create. He was a kind and gentle soul and I’m so glad I was a part of his life, in some capacity. My heart goes out to you all. ❤️
