Timothy W. Waller
June 7, 1956 - December 29, 2017

Timothy William Waller was born in Jacksonville, NC on June 7, 1956. He passed away at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC on December 29, 2017 at the age of 61. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Waller. Also surviving are his parents, Joe and Theresa Swain; A son, Abel (Lee Gross) Waller; A daughter, Jessica (Derek) Holmes; Two brothers, Gerald Waller and Daniel (Lori) Waller; A neice, Angel Fuller; and a very special nephew, Chris Waller. He also had five grandchildren he loved dearly; Sierra, Dallas, Mariah, Simala, and Swayzee.

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave behind an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of happy times, laughing times, and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun, and to remember happy memories that I leave when life is done.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th at 1:00 pm at Bear Branch Baptist Church 3175 Blueberry Rd. Currie, NC 28435. The family will receive visitors afterwards at his daughter’s home in Burgaw, NC.

Please share memories and condolences with the Waller family by posting a condolence.  Arrangements are in the care of Coastal Cremations.

Timmy lived life to the fullest; his way. He shared his passion for food with anyone that entered his home. Often called the Critter Getter, Timmy did love hunting and fishing, keeping the freezer stocked year round. From the woods to the table!
In recent years it was nice to see him become a proud grandfather. It’s sad to see him go so soon but I’m relieved he is no longer suffering. Rest in Peace big brother.
