Winnabow, NC – Veronica Jefferson Barnes, nee’ Veronica Jane Burnett, 81, passed away on Friday at Brunswick Cove Living Center in Winnabow. Previously residing in Wilmington, NC, she was born in Cleveland, OH.   She was the daughter of the late Rufus and Eula Barnett.    She is survived by her son, Scott Jefferson and other extended family members.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Eugene Barnes.   Arrangements by Coastal Cremations, Carolina Shores.
